Dunshay Manor

Brief Description

The manor of Dunshay dates back to the early 13th Century. Today’s house began life as a farmhouse in the 16th Century and operated as such until it became dilapidated.

It was rescued in the 1900s by Architect, Philip Sturdy, who gave its interior and Arts & Craft feel. Its last owner, Mary Spencer Watson, bequeathed the house to the Landmark Trust and the house has been refurbished as a Holiday Let.

The house opened as a Holiday Let in summer 2019 after a major refurbishment project.

The Landmark Trust Website gives a wonderful insight into this beautiful house and its location close to the Dorset coast.
