Kearsney Abbey Park, Dover

Brief Description

Kearsney Abbey Park regeneration project is an HLF funded project to protect the park and its Grade II listed features and to allow people to visit the park and learn of its heritage and links to Dover’s industrial heritage. The park originates from landscaped additions to country houses and estates built for prominent local industrialists in the early 19th and 20th Centuries.

The project includes restoring the open air theatre, bandstand and gatehouses, extending the Café in Kearsney Abbey to create a multiuse venue with facilities to support new volunteering, training and education programmes and events hire.
