Llancaiach Fawr Manor
Brief Description A fine example of a semi-fortified Manor House built in 1530 wih 4 ft thick walls and designed to be split in two to provide a safe refuge in case of attack. With prosperity of ownership, it was extended in 1628. Since it ceased to become a family home, it was restored and furnished to reflect how it would have looked in 1645. Now in need of further refurbishment, the project is aimed at improving the presentation and access, as well as updating the entire services installation.
