Canford School Staff Common Room

MTA has had a long and successful working relationship with the prestigious Canford School in Dorset.

The school’s latest project, the refurbishment of the Staff Common Room housed in a Grade II listed building, was completed and officially opened on 9th November 2017. The building has been named the Tom Nash Building in recognition of the contribution made by Tom during his time at the school from 1927 to 1963. Tom’s son Stephen Nash presided at the opening ceremony and a commemorative plaque was revealed.

MTA were appointed to design and specify the electrical and mechanical works to include a new LTHW heating system, domestic water, mechanical ventilation, above ground soil and waste, replacement electrics to include distribution board, small power, cable containment, internal, external and emergency lighting, fire alarm system, access control and data communications. The resulting surroundings provide the staff with both comfort and practicality.
