[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Kenwood House Stable Block project started on site in March 2018. The building is located in Hampstead, North London, within the Kenwood House Estate (Grade I listed).
This project will see the complete repair and refurbishment of the Kenwood House Stable Block (Grade II listed), to provide a mix of staff accommodation and apartments for commercial let. The building has been functioning as a residential property, having been subdivided for this purpose in the 1930s, but has fallen into disrepair.
- The overall refurbishment works include:
- Repairs to slate roofs and lead flashings
- Repointing and other minor masonry works
- Repair and redecoration of timber and crittal windows
- Alterations and Refurbishment
- Asbestos removal
- Minor hard and soft landscaping works
The services aspect, designed by MTA, include:
- Replacement of the above and below ground drainage
- New utility connections to each individual apartment and EH staff areas
- New heating, hot & cold water and ventilation systems
- New lighting and small power installations
- New IT and communications systems
- New fire alarm systems
- New access control systems
- Maintaining the existing CCTV system
