The Letchworth Garden City Braveherts RUFC“The Letchworth Garden City Braveherts RUFC were one of three sides from England to play in the second ever International mixed ability rugby tournament. The tournament was held in Vitoria-Gasteiz, which is the Capital of the Basque Country, between 21st and 25th August.

The tournament was organised by International Mixed Ability Sports whose vision is to enable people of all abilities to be equal members in clubs and communities using the power of sport and education.

We played four games of rugby in the sweltering heat as well as socialising with the other teams. Our team was the smallest there and we proudly now have a world ranking of 10th in the world.

Thank you so much to Martin Thomas Associates for all of your support.”

Sam Prowse
Captain of the Braveherts for the Tournament
