Buckfast Abbey, St Anthony’s

Brief Description

St Anthony’s at Buckfast Abbey was a former farm building that once housed the Tonic Wine and Honey Departments for which the resident Monks became famous.

The refurbished building now provides accommodation for various Abbey office functions and a Visitor Hospitality Suite from where the tours of the Tonic Wine producing monastery are conducted.

MTA were involved in the refurbishment project and of particular note was integration with existing Photo Voltaic installations on the roof of the building and connection to the Abbey’s central boiler house.
