Brief Description
Croome Court is a Grade I listed mid 18th century Neo-Palladian mansion surrounded by extensive landscaped parkland designed by Capability Brown. It houses a 1940s RAF Visitor Centre and canteen converted from the former RAF Hospital Buildings.
The project, Croome Rediscovered, is to provide improved visitor access, education and training facilities, spaces for conferencing and meeting rooms, and other events. The scheme also includes complete re-servicing of the house with environmental controls to allow some of its collection to be returned and displayed. A 200kW ground source heat pump will provide a low carbon solution for the base heating load.
