Brief Description

Hadlow Tower is a Grade I listed Gothic Revival folly built in the 1830s which, through the Vivat Trust, has been carefully restored to provide holiday accommodation over five floors. It is also open to the public as a museum.

The Tower had declined through minimal maintenance and was then badly damaged in the storm of 1987. The local council carried out emergency repairs in 1990 and it wasn’t until the building was declared of particular interest by the World Monument Fund in 1998 that it was transferred to the Vivat Trust for conservation.
