Orleans House Gallery

Brief Description

This is part of the HLF funded project to regenerate, restore and refurbish the buildings and grounds of Orleans House Estate. The Gallery is part of a Grade 1 listed site and consists of the Octagon Room (completed in 1720 to entertain Royalty) and the West Wings.

The gallery is to be transformed into a heritage information hub and study centre, overcoming the degradation of the fine interior, insensitive piecemeal introduction of services over the years.
