Residential Projects
MTA have had considerable experience in private residential projects. However, for obvious confidentiality reasons, we are unable to provide specific details to illustrate these.
We have been involved in projects such as complete refurbishment of a Grade II* listed Manor House situated in extensive grounds. The project included refurbishment to a Party Barn, Staff Cottage and Garages. MTA were responsible for the mechanical and electrical design which includes new power (including a new sub-station and backup generator), heating, water services, lighting and data systems to the Manor House and outbuildings. The project also included a new build Stable Block, Riding School and Machine Shed. Our designs included extensive garden and exterior lighting, a borehole water supply and a photovoltaic system on the new stable roof.
A second example involved partial refurbishment and integration of new mechanical and electrical elements into the existing services installations at a Grade 2 listed Tudor Mansion in South London. The project also involved extensive landscaping of the gardens, full refurbishment of the Gate Lodge and adjacent property and a new multi-use swimming pool and function building with associated gymnasium. MTA are responsible for the mechanical and electrical design and management of numerous client appointed specialist designers including AV, Data, Fire and Security consultants.
In a third project, MTA provided building services, design and construction stage monitoring for Phase 1 of an Estate project which included a Biomass Boiler installation and a borehole water supply to provide the heating infrastructure across the Estate and to an external swimming pool with ancillary buildings.
