Brief Description

A Regency Landscape Revealed Project— a Heritage Lottery Funded project to restore the parkland and buildings within it.

The Parkland is Grade II* Listed and ten of the buildings within the parkland are also Grade II or II* listed. The project was to improve visitor access by providing a re-located car park, restoring and rebuilding the follies and the path network. The Victorian Coach House has been transformed into a new Visitor Centre with new WCs and a refreshment kiosk on the terrace overlooking the lake.

The project includes construction of a new Vocational Training Centre in the walled Storey Gardens.
