Brief Description

Strawberry Hill House is considered to be one of Britain’s finest examples of Georgian Gothic architecture having been transformed by Horace Walpole during 1747 to 1792.

Strawberry Hill Trust have acquired the house under lease from St Mary’s College and a Heritage Lottery funded project is underway to conserve and restore the house and to make it accessible to the public as a museum.

This project won a RICS Award in 2012.
