Magna Carta (Latin for “Great Charter”) is one of the most celebrated documents in English history and Salisbury Cathedral is home to the world’s best preserved original 1215 Magna Carta document.
As part of the 800th Anniversary celebrations, the Chapter House at Salisbury Cathedral has been reserviced, with MTA responsible for the mechanical and electrical design.
The new exhibition tells the story of the Magna Carta in its historic context, telling the story of the struggle between King John and his barons using displays, media, artefacts, interactive stations and film.
The grand opening of the new permanent interactive Magna Carta: Spirit of Justice, Power of Words exhibition is on March 6th 2015.
